Tim is committed to working with the Church to serve the poor and the oppressed, the widow and the orphan. His desire is to see lives forever transformed by the Good News of the Kingdom. His leadership of Hope Story is bolstered by his strong background in communications and international development.

Maggie Grift

Maggie’s love of administration, organization, and technology empowers her to support the Hope Story staff, allowing them the opportunity to focus on Hope Story’s mission within their roles. Maggie is committed to seeing children given opportunities that take them from surviving to thriving. Outside of work, she volunteers with organizations within her local community that serve children and where this is seen not just globally through Hope Story but also close to home. Maggie has a background in bookkeeping and information technology.

Christian Ferraro

Christian provides leadership on strategic initiatives and supports our international partners in growing their outreach. Christian is driven to empower the children and families we serve to live an abundant life. Christian has an MBA with a specialization in Social Sector Management from the Schulich School of Business and a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School.

Partnerships Manager

Gina Jacklin

Gina is responsible for the project management aspects of Hope Story’s supported programs. Serving in this capacity, she is driven by Christ’s call to care for those in need and is inspired by the collaborative spirit amongst the Global Church to reach out in love, word and deed. Outside of Hope Story, Gina is a visual artist, loves to spend her time with family, and enjoys reading up on subjects in the field of Christian apologetics, theology and science.

Partnerships Manager

Barbara Main

Barbara is a seasoned specialist in child/maternal health and nutrition, having worked for more than a decade with Canada's largest Christian charity, and having lived and worked in Africa and Asia, including nine years in Cambodia. Barbara is committed to building the capacity of our church partners to serve children and maintaining excellence in the areas of sustainable program design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. Barbara is a registered nurse, certified nurse-midwife and holds a Master’s degree in Public Health.
