His parents work hard as farmers and try to supplement their income with being a driver and collecting sand to sell it due to a lack of farmable land and a lack of rain. As a result, they struggle to provide for their growing family. Boris enjoys playing with his friends. He also enjoys building small houses and playing football (soccer).

He also enjoys washing dishes and playing football (soccer), and his favourite colour is red. His favourite subject in school is reading.

Amina lives with her mother and her siblings, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. He mother sells food at a wayside stall and also works at a small local hotel. While at school she is very quiet and does her work slowly, but with great care. Amina loves to learn math while in school. Her favourite activity is playing rede with her friends. This Tanzanian game is played with four people and involves a ball. In the future Amina would love to be a doctor.

Stumani loves to learn about God and we pray that she will bring light to her family someday. She does like her fathers’ career. Stumani struggles in class as she is slow learner. She does love to learn Kiswahili and to play rede with her friends. This Tanzanian game is played with four people and involves a ball. In the future she hopes to be a teacher.
