Haiti Update - April 2018

It's Time to Celebrate!

On a warm, and bright sunny day in January students, teachers, staff and guests gathered to give thanks to God as they dedicated the new school that was recently built.  Thanks to your support, students have a brand-new building to study and learn in. They’re thriving and eager to attend classes, and teachers report they are achieving excellent marks in their studies.

“God is at work here in the ministry”, reports Project Manager Robenson Gedeus. There is much to be thankful for. The children, house parents and staff members are drawing near to God and continue to gather daily to pray and spend time together during devotions. The youth are developing their leadership skills and take an active role in the chapel services and mentoring the younger children. Even the teachers are feeling refreshed and inspired after taking part in the professional development training led by a group of Canadian teachers who recently traveled to Haiti in early 2018. Robenson further reports that “many of our parents are heavily involved in the leadership of our church and take an active role in being involved with our children’s spiritual growth”. Your gift has made this possible!
