The MWEP, launched in April, is setting the stage for long-term empowerment by focusing on the economic independence of women and girls in Mbooni Sub-County. This project is addressing deep-rooted issues like gender-based violence and environmental degradation while fostering economic resilience through sustainable practices. Despite facing delays, the enthusiasm from the community and local churches is a powerful testament to the project's potential. The groundwork has been laid, and the excitement is building for the life-changing impact that is soon to come.
