More Dreams Than Belongings: Lina’s Story of Hope

At CoH, she received clean water, nourishing meals, a safe home, and the chance to learn. Lina quickly began to thrive sprinting across the athletics field, excelling in class, and especially enjoying social studies.

Now in Grade 9, she dreams of becoming a teacher. She has grown into a young leader, joining the Christian Cadettes to develop faith and character, and participating in Bible drills where she memorizes and recites Scriptures.

Earlier this year, Lina moved in with her aunt as part of the transition program. She helps with chores, laughs with her cousins, and continues to shine at school surrounded by friends and a future full of promise.
