Turning the Tide: from Receiving to Serving

This native youth discipleship conference, designed for ages 15-30, offered an incredible mix of faith, fellowship, and fun. The youth participants enjoyed a diverse range of activities including sports tournaments, swimming, and paddle boating.

The Warrior Leadership Summit is a dynamic gathering where over 600 native young people from more than 100 tribes come together to grow in their faith and leadership. The conference's heart lies in its life-changing teachings and worship sessions, which empower attendees to embrace the life Jesus offers.

This year, the impact was profound: one girl from the Youth Centre chose to stay on as a volunteer with the WLS Summer Hope Team, marking a significant milestone in her faith journey. The "Summer of Hope" program provides an immersive experience, equipping young leaders to engage with their communities through outreach events and personal hope stories.

The WLS also fostered deep connections among participants. Many recommitted their faith, and some found solace in shared experiences, such as a participant relating to another who grieves the loss of a grandmother. These meaningful interactions not only provided comfort but also highlighted the powerful impact of coming together as a community of faith.
